Born and raised in Oregon, Chris Fladwood considers himself a true Oregonian—kind in nature, slow driving, and considerate of others. Chris’ diverse background includes service in the United States Army and harvest work in Washington state, Bordeaux, New Zealand, and Oregon. Today, Chris is responsible for all winemaking operations at Soter Vineyards. He oversees production of the entire portfolio of wines, from the accessible Planet Oregon brand to the limited-production sparkling wines and estate Pinot Noirs. Chris’s commitment to quality, focus, and precision are hallmarks of his work, and the wines reflect his relentless devotion to the craft of winemaking.
