    Planted in 1964 HMR is the oldest Pinot Noir vineyard on Central Coast of California. It lies at an elevation of 1700 feet in the rugged coastal mountain range, some 14 miles from the Pacific Ocean. These original vines struggle nobly atop limestone-rich hillsides. Winemaker Jeremy Weintraub shares the vision of the late Andre Tchelistechef who believed passionately in this vineyard and its wines.
