Blue Farm began when viticulturist Anne Moller-Racke planted seven acres of Pinot Noir behind her historic Victorian farmhouse in Carneros. Anne designed the vineyard to produce one complete wine, blended from her favorite clonal selections (Swan, 667, 115 and Calera). Anne now makes 3-4 single bottlings from her estate, Anne Katherina Vineyard.
Today, Blue Farm crafts delicious Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from five vineyards and six AVAs within Sonoma County. The wines are crafted from Carneros, Sonoma Valley, Petaluma Gap, Russian River Valley, Fort Ross-Seaview and Sonoma Coast. The common thread between the sites is meticulous farming. Our Winemaking style is hands off, allowing a clear expression of the vineyard and the vintage.
