  • 2019 Anne Katherina
In 2001, Anne planted seven acres of Pinot Noir divided into three blocks dedicated to the Swan clone and three Dijon clones, which ultimately became the Anne Katherina Pinot Noir. Today the vineyard is comprised of five clones of Pinot Noir and one Wente Chardonnay clone. The Anne Katherina Pinot Noir is still divided into three blocks dedicated to the Swan clone and two Dijon clones. The Dijon 115 contributes perfume and power; the Swan fills the wine's middle, adding body and textural layers and the Dijon 667 lends structure. Together they produce one complete wine from the Anne Katherina vineyard. 344 cases.

Blue Farm began when viticulturist Anne Moller-Racke planted seven acres of Pinot Noir behind her historic Victorian farmhouse in Carneros. Anne designed the vineyard to produce one complete wine, blended from her favorite clonal selections (Swan, 667, 115 and Calera). Anne now makes 3-4 single bottlings from her estate, Anne Katherina Vineyard.

Today, Blue Farm crafts delicious Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from five vineyards and six AVAs within Sonoma County. The wines are crafted from Carneros, Sonoma Valley, Petaluma Gap, Russian River Valley, Fort Ross-Seaview and Sonoma Coast. The common thread between the sites is meticulous farming. Our Winemaking style is hands off, allowing a clear expression of the vineyard and the vintage.
