  • 2018 DeLoach Vineyards Estate Pinot Noir
    Russian River Valley/DeLoach Vineyards
    Expand
Planted on Huichica clay loam soil, our Estate has eight blocks of Pinot Noir with a unique combination of clone and rootstock. The 2018 Estate Pinot Noir is made using all of our eight estate clones – 115, 828, Swan, La Tache, Calera and Mt. Eden, 777 and 23. This combination of clones showcases the ideal expression of the estate’s terroir and were fermented in individual lots with native yeasts in open top fermenters, basket-pressed and aged on lees before being blended together. This 2018 Estate Pinot Noir opens with a bouquet of black cherry, mulberry fruits and notes of vanilla and herbs. Rich and full-bodied, flavors of dark chocolate are layered with juicy cherry, red plum and raspberry. Supple tannins with bright acidity are followed by a savory and lingering finish.
    Suggested Retail Price: $80
  • 2019 DeLoach Vineyards Marin County Pinot Noir
    Marin County
    Expand
The grapes for this cool climate Pinot Noir are from the Stubbs, Corda/Chileno and Azaya Vineyards in the northernmost reaches of Marin County. The grapes were hand harvested between September 23 and October 5 and fermented in a combination of small, open top fermenters with hand punch downs before aging in 100% French oak barrels, 19% new for 10 months. Dark fruit aromas of baked plum, blueberry and blackberry greet the nose with an underlying note of baking spice and bay leaf. Strawberry and Bing cherry flavors are layered with notes of black tea and white pepper. Nicely balanced with soft tannins, the finish lingers.
    Suggested Retail Price: $52
