  • 2022 Hidden Block Pinot Noir
    Santa Cruz Mountains
    Expand
Hidden Block was the first Pinot Noir block planted at our estate in 1997, on 2 acres that overlook the San Francisco Bay. On foggy mornings, it hangs in the mist, and on sunny afternoons it is bathed in sunshine, often making for our most fruit-driven expression of Pinot Noir.
    Suggested Retail Price: $60
  • 2022 Picnic Block Pinot Noir
    Santa Cruz Mountains
    Expand
Picnic Block is an east-facing slope at the lowest elevation of our Spring Ridge Vineyard. The steep and narrow block often produces our most concentrated and spice-laden Pinot Noir on the estate.
    Suggested Retail Price: $60
  • 2024 Rosé of Pinot Noir
    Santa Cruz Mountains
    Expand
Our rose is made primarily off our Hidden Block of Pinot Noir, with supporting contributions from the other blocks on the estate. It is fermented and aged in stainless steel and bottled after 5 months in the cellar. Our goal is a bright, crisp, fresh expression of the grape.
    Suggested Retail Price: $40
  • 2024 Leona Chardonnay
    San Francisco Bay
    Expand
This 2-acre planting of Wente clone Chardonnay lies just over the AVA line from our ridgetop estate. The lower elevation block stays cooler than the ridges and ripens more slowly. This bottling is both fermented and aged in stainless steel. We also make a barrel fermented expression of this wine.
    Suggested Retail Price: $40

Description

Neely Wine is a women-led, family-owned producer of esteemed Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Our Portola Valley estate is Spring Ridge Vineyard, where the mountains meet the San Francisco Bay. The Santa Cruz Mountains AVA line runs through our oak and redwood forested hills, and our vines bask in the strong coastal influence off the Pacific Ocean as it crests over the summit of Windy Hill, as well as the moderating influences of the bay's fog and sunshine.

Our 16 acres of vineyards dot a 235-acre property that climbs up to 1700 feet. The original 12 acres were planted by Bob and Jim Varner in 1980, and we are proud to continue to nurture these mature blocks, while also investing in the future with four acres of younger vines. Led by the Neely Family and winemaker Sarah Green, we are driven by the pursuit of thoughtful farming, inspired winemaking, and exceptional hospitality at our estate tasting room.
