  The two clones of Pinot Noir were fermented and barrel aged separately, given different treatments and cooperage selections to drive the personalities of each lot independently. The final wine is concentrated and full of vitality with well-defined tannins that complement the flavor-focused vintage. Bottled after 11 months with a desire to maintain freshness, this wine is delicious young but will reward patience.

  On the nose, blue fruits, plum and violets dominate. The purity of the vintage shines through with a wonderful balance of richness and focus. One of the more generous Pinot Noirs in our portfolio, the Gap’s Crown Vineyard provides consistently balanced fruit at reasonable alcohol and ripeness. 96 points, Jeb Dunnuck.

• 2019 Pinot Noir, Ram's Gate Estate

  The nose is driven by açai berry, cocoa, and blood orange. With varying whole- cluster percentages based on orientation and vine age on our Estate, the resulting wine is complemented by baking spice and white pepper. On the palate, the naturally higher-acid fruit drives the wine, while the weight and concentration are felt on the mid-palate accelerating nicely into a long, satisfying finish. 95 points, Jeb Dunnuck.
