After earning her Master's degree in Oenology in South Australia, Katie worked in numerous cellars across Australia and the United States, including Alpha Box & Dice (McLaren Vale), Antica Napa Valley, Some Young Punks (Clare Valley), and Rudd Estate in Oakville. From there, Katie earned her Level 3 Certification from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust and worked as a sommelier in Beverly Hills and Malibu restaurants. While living in Los Angeles, she serendipitously fell into a role with a wine startup that opened the door to another, and for six years she worked to source grapes, domestic wines and international wines from 12 different countries. Today, Katie brings a wealth of knowledge and experience as the Director of Marketing for Evening Land Vineyards, Domaine de la Côte, Sandhi Wines, and Piedrasassi.
