Naomi Smith

Vice President of Sales at Champagne Laurent-Perrier US

Naomi Smith is the Vice President of Sales for Champagne Laurent-Perrier, one of the world's most respected Champagne Houses with a history dating back to 1812. It is currently the largest female owned and lead winery in the region. Naomi was formally knighted as a Dame Chevalier of L’Ordre Des Coteaux De Champagne for her contributions to the Champagne industry, and is an active member of the exclusive Les Dames d’ Escoffier, an international philanthropic organization of women leaders in wine, food, and hospitality.

Prior to joining Champagne Laurent-Perrier in 2016, Naomi spent more than 15 years in the wine industry representing prominent brands, importers, and distributors throughout the West Coast representing prestigious wineries including Petrus, Champagne Louis Roederer, and Salon.

Known for her passion, among her peers and the wider wine community, her enthusiasm and knowledge make her a popular panelist at important festivals, including Pebble Beach Food & Wine, World of Pinot Noir, the International Pinot Noir Celebration, and Big Sur Food & Wine.

She has also been featured as an expert on TV and radio throughout the West Coast. In addition to her work in wine, Naomi is a well-respected instructor at the Cheese School of San Francisco and helped create the Seattle Cheese Festival and Seattle Artisan Food Festival. Naomi currently lives just outside of San Francisco with her husband, two daughters, and Vera the dog.
