Tom Pierson is the Associate Winemaker at Bricoleur vineyards and has the great fortune of working with consulting winemakers Bob Cabral and Gary Gott. Tom is going into his seventh vintage at the winery and spearheads the vineyard and winemaking operations. Tom’s education in the agricultural sciences was a perfect launching point to take on the 63+ acres and 12 grape varieties grown at the two estate vineyards. His winemaking skills were honed during his years at Punchdown Cellars custom crush in Santa Rosa where Bricoleur Vineyards produced its first seven vintages. Today Tom takes the lead in winemaking with the approach that great wines are an expression of site and timely actions in the cellar. Tom finds inspiration in the collective effort it takes to bring each vintage to bottle.
