  We strive, above all, to produce wines that speak to place. We tread lightly, limiting our inputs and embracing a process that is widely decided in the vineyard; our winemaking remains traditional, and in direct continuity of the naturalistic philosophies that inspire our farming. This bottling brings to life a holistic expression of our vineyard. Grapes are hand-sorted before native fermentation in oak, concrete, and stainless steel vessels. Twenty five percent whole cluster, native fermentations, and aged eighteen months in French oak. Kept unfiltered ahead of bottling.

  This wine comes from the first vines planted in 2001, a 4-acre north-facing parcel. These vines are surrounded by dense forest to its western border that blows cool air through the block, where a seasonal creek runs and white truffles grow. With a singular microclimate, Due North showcases a distinctive aspect of Abbott Claim Vineyard. Seven percent whole cluster, native fermentations, and aged eighteen months in French oak. Kept unfiltered ahead of bottling.
