• 2021 Domaine Serene ‘Coeur Blanc’

  The Coeur Blanc is a special and limited-production white wine crafted from fully mature Pinot Noir grapes. At harvest, 100% estate-grown grapes from carefully selected vineyard blocks are handpicked and meticulously sorted. The grapes are then gently whole-cluster pressed, limiting contact with the grape skins so that only the “white heart” juice is expressed. The resulting juice is barrel fermented in French oak and then aged on the lees prior to bottling. This wine is a fruity and floral White Pinot Noir. It starts with lemongrass and lavender on the nose, followed by chamomile and tea-like notes. The Domaine Serene 'Coeur Blanc' white Pinot Noir is a fruity, crisp wine with a light raspberry flavor and hints of white floral and chamomile. It has a golden apple finish with notes of bartlet pear. The 'Coeur Blanc' undergoes the gentlest extraction of the Pinot Noir grape and only uses 2/3 of the grape, to capture the nuances of the fruit without the color. This is a beautifully balanced wine with minerality and hints of savory herbs on the long finish. This wine is perfect for pairing with tuna tartar or any light fish dish.

  A brilliant ruby red color, the 2019 ‘Evenstad Reserve’ Pinot Noir expresses aromas of dark dried cherries, pink peppercorn, and saddle leather on the nose. On the palate, layers of composed tannins and savory characters of cherrywood, ground sage and dried shiitake mushrooms reveal themselves, leading to an acidic finish that lingers with soft and silky tannins. This Pinot Noir is beautiful on release and will age gracefully in the cellar for years to come.

  The 2019 Maison Evenstad Volnay Premier Cru Clos des Chênes Pinot Noir is a bright, fruit-forward wine with a silky smooth texture and a strong finish. This wine has a nose of dark fruit, and red fruit on the palate, specifically pomegranate, creating a fresh taste on the palate, entering the mouth with juicy notes of brown sugar and mint. This Pinot Noir pairs well with peking duck or prime rib pepper crusted with rosemary.

  The Gravières vineyard is perhaps our most prestigious parcel in Santenay and is named for the French word meaning "gravel," alluding to the soil found on the parcels. Acclaimed as "one of the best I've ever had" by Domaine Serene President Ryan Harris, this gorgeous Chardonnay has notes of key lime, citrus, and white floral, with an open, direct minerality and a hint of lemongrass on the finish.
