  • 2021 Cut Root Vineyard Barrel Select Pinot Noir
    Russian River Valley
    Expand
2021 provided us with some exceptional lots from our Cut Root Vineyard, so the winemaking team decided to taste through every barrel individually and from that we selected our four favorites to blend together and form the “Barrel Select.” An enticing wine, both pretty and rich, aromas of red fruits and spices swirl around the glass with hints of floral, vanillin, and a dash of blood orange. The palate displays depth and structure whilst boasting flavors of tart cherries, ripe pomegranates, and a splash of citrus balanced by a full mouth coasting tannin that shows this is a serious Pinot with a long life to live.
    Suggested Retail Price: $69
  • 2023 Ferrington Vineyard Pinot Noir
    Anderson Valley
    Expand
Ferrington Vineyards, north of Boonville in Anderson Valley, was originally planted in 1969 and later acquired by the Schoenemans in 1996. The vineyard spans forty-four acres of Pinot Noir clones, with additional plantings of Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer, and Sauvignon Blanc. The 2023 Ferrington Pinot Noir is visually striking with its deep red and purple hue. Its aromatic profile features red fruits like pomegranate, cherry, and cranberry, complemented by baking spices, white mushrooms, cocoa powder, and orange blossom. On the palate, the wine showcases bright red fruit flavors, firm tannins, and lively acidity, culminating in a citrus-infused finish.
    Suggested Retail Price: $51

Description

Everything we do at Dutcher Crossing begins with the concept of family. Whether you are the oldest or newest member of the winery, everyone’s contribution is needed and integral to our success. From the vineyards to the tasting room, even though we all have walked different paths on our journey to Dutcher Crossing, we’ve settled into family life together.

Our belief is simple—to be a well-balanced, three-legged stool. Leg one is make the best wine we can staying true to the vineyard, vintage, and varietal. The second leg is the beautiful sense of place within our vineyards and winery. Finally, our third leg is hospitality. Whether you are a long-time visitor or new to the property, we want to welcome and treat everyone as we would our own mothers. With the balance of all three legs, we create an experience like none other in Sonoma County.
