  Meredith Estate Pinot Noir is the flagship of the winery and the first vineyard ever owned by Merry Edwards. In this vintage, a nose filled with sweet aromatics of violets, roses, dark plum and Bing cherry precedes a dense, juicy and mouthwatering entry. Broad and rich tannins then envelop black cherry, boysenberry, cedar and pipe tobacco. Earthy mushroom and leather notes combine with seductive notes of toast throughout the long and lingering finish.

  This appellation blend is at the core of the Merry Edwards Winery portfolio and offers a complete portrait of the Russian River Valley. Five different clones grown in a variety of vineyards were individually fermented to produce the distinctive lots chosen for this wine. You will first notice the beautiful garnet color followed by fragrances of vanilla cola, black raspberry, fresh thyme and plum compote. On entry, the mouthfeel is soft and lush, with notes of black cherry, plum, cassis and milk chocolate. Juicy acidity bonds with structured tannins and lifts the long, spicy finish.

  Merry Edwards Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir displays a unique and specific regionality. This wine is distinctly coastal, with bright, buoyant acidity that sets it apart from wines made from the winery's warmer sites. It is made to be enjoyed from the time of its release, either with food or as a lovely aperitif. In the 2022 vintage, aromas of rose petals, ripe cherries, blueberries and sandalwood waft from the glass, accompanied by notes of vanilla, cinnamon and plum. The entry is smooth and ripe, with a slightly spicy mouthfeel that is elegant and balanced. This wine finishes long and light on its feet.
