The Translating Terroir Through Bubbles seminar is sold out for 2023!
Wine lovers know that Burgundian still red Pinot Noir is the most expressive grape in the world, and this seminar will highlight what Pinot Noir brings to Champagne and sparkling wines. Analyzing the unique terroirs and regional farming methods for Pinot Noir grown for sparkling wines, the seminar will delve into the winemaking methods and tirage during this retrospective tasting of sparkling from multiple Pinot Noir growing regions. Led by Esther Mobley, Senior Wine Critic for the San Francisco Chronicle, and a panel of winemakers, guests will explore region-specific bubbles from Champagne, Willamette Valley, Sonoma, Monterey, SLO Coast and Santa Barbara.
